I really need help with a login system and a database, could anybody help me?

Html, I recommend this site : http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2895 but this is so not good because the username and password are in the source code :-( also only one user is there. There is also no need for a database.

Php, Recommended!!, I use on my website this one : http://www.blogofwebmasters.com/free-php-login-script-with-remember-me-feature/ it is tottly free but requires a database, If you cannot find a database host then i would use this http://www.freesql.org/ glog is compatible with this.

Php, Without Database, Right what this script does is it uses a text file to gain the user and password data:
http://www.phpmagicbook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/loginsimple.rar but this is also not highly recommended as if a person knows the name of the text file then they get all the information.

So i use glog and you can use any you want. Hope this helps.......
